MY SKILLS
Introduction
My decision to leave public school had nothing to do with liking or not liking the formal educational system.
Luckily, I never had a problem at school and I was recognized as a good and disciplined student.
The truth is, contrary to many opinions, I never stopped being that student. Most importantly, I never stopped giving my best and never stopped to lose focus. I simply became conscious that learning and education could go much farther than in my school classroom.
That thought changed the way I used to consider the concept of learning.
My educational path taught me that any kind of education is an endless process.
Thanks to this, my skills and talents will never cease to develop.
I was remarkably careful with determining the goals and purposes that I expected from my educational path, without leaving anything to chance.
Throughout these years of non-formal education, I acquired manual and social skills that increased my studying and working techniques to a significant level.
My Social Skills
My first experiences living with other people or by myself began earlier than usual, and I was accompanied by my older sister during the first period.
With the time I became independent and I am now able to take care of myself almost completely on all aspects of life.
Foremost, my immediate decision to start working for different people introduced me to important behaviors that are expected in most workspaces.
I am now significantly capable to receive and follow the requests and needs of clients and coordinators, delivering my work on time and making sure to keep quality and quantity on a consistent balance.
I am very open to feedback and criticism, considering them necessary steps to improve and often brainstorm better and new ideas.
I consider myself a great team-worker, however, I am efficient in individual work as well.
My Manual Skills
Art-wise, I mostly have very strong knowledge with different drawing techniques, starting from traditional to digital art.
I worked with a few different digital software, such as Painter Essentials and Adobe Photoshop, which I feel very confident with.
Instead, traditional art has been a part of my passions my whole life.
Recently, I had the opportunity to help with the painting of a small Murales of a public school in a Spanish town.
During my time working for the European Commission, I had the chance to work and increase experience with organizing and coordinating the shooting of short movies and videos, while gaining confidence with the video editing software Adobe Premiere Pro.
I studied for approximately one month 3D modeling on Autodesk Maya with the online college CG Spectrum, which gave me my first overlook of the main tools and tricks to modeling and animation.
Additionally, I've been engaged with acting and scenic makeup since I was young. I took two years of acting classes while developing my passion for makeup-art and often mixing them: details that were very admired in a few works I've done.
